It’s no secret that Timothée Chalamet loves his sneakers. He likes classic pairs like the Adidas Samba. He likes fancy pairs like the Rick Owens Luxor. And he even designed a special Wonka-themed pair of Nike Dunks. His preferences can be unpredictable at times, but one thing that isn’t that surprising is his love for the Nike Air Force 1 ‘White.’
Spotted in Los Angeles while heading to a game between the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers, the Oscar nominee was seen rocking a clean white T-shirt, with a silver chain and a Nike Dri-Fit hoodie layered on top. He also wore the Anagram Jogging Trousers by Loewe in a creamy colourway. It’s all very snug and very comfy, and perfect for those particularly chilly mornings in Cali.
But, despite all that, it was the shoes on T Chal’s feet that had us all gassed up. The Air Force 1 ‘White’ is regarded by many sneakerheads as one of the greatest trainers in history. Designed by Bruce Kilgore (who is also the man behind the equally-as-legendary Air Jordan 2), it was first introduced in the early ‘80s. While it was originally created to be a basketball shoe, it eventually made its way to the streets of New York City where it quickly became part of the official uniform of hip-hop’s finest.
The Nike Air Force 1 ‘White’ goes well with everything from sportswear to streetwear, and judging by how good Chalamet looks in them, they go extremely well with cosywear too.
